The workshop was hosted by SUNY Syracuse, the official Northeast Regional Your Town Center, and co-sponsored by the North Country Council, a regional planning commission with a budding Community Design Program. It marked the 14th Your Town workshop held nationally, and the third in the northeast. Between June 15-17, over 30 regional leaders gathered for design lectures, group engagements, case study presentations, and the culminating Your Town workshop based on a hypothetical rural town in the northeastern United States. Programming aimed to address the specific needs of rural New Hampshire and northern New England.
