Hosted on March 24-26, 1999, the workshop was facilitated by Lisa Burcham, Southern Field Representative of the National Trust, with support from the National Your Town Center staff and other regional partners. Attendees, who came from communities along the Route 15 corridor in Maryland, worked to address problems that were real design issues for the region, rather than the usual exploration of a hypothetical community project.
