The Flatwoods Community Design Team Summit was hosted by local partner West Virginia University. Between June 2-4, nearly 60 regional leaders gathered for design lectures and workshops, group engagements, and case study presentations focused on highlighting architectural and historic assets, designing vibrant streetscapes, and comprehensive main street revitalization. The culminating Your Town workshop was based on real-world design challenges and opportunities in West Virginia’s Appalachian towns.
